2021 is coming to an end and what a year it has been. There are tons of festive events around the Phoenix area to enjoy the holiday spirit and bring in the new year. Here is a list of festive holiday events to enjoy throughout the Valley.

Christmas at the Princess

November 16, 2021 – January 2, 2022

The annual “Christmas at the Princess” event is decorated with hundreds of thousands of lights and amazing Christmas-decorated light displays. Visitors can see all of the splendor of the grounds by taking a train ride around the lagoon and even enjoy ice skating for a fee. The event also includes carnival rides, swings, and s’more making stations around the campfire.

Admission with self-parking is a little pricey at $72 but includes 4 passes or a valet that includes passes for six people. You can also buy passes individually if you would like to Uber or walk to the grounds without parking. There is also a promotion that allows you to get 50% off valet admission if you spend $75. World of Illumination: “ReinDeer Road & ” Candy Rush”

December 4, 2021 – January 2, 2022

The World of Illumination is featuring two new drive-through light attractions. The “ReinDeer Road” at Diablo Stadium in Tempe and the “Candy Rush” in Glendale by the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley. Patrons will see millions of light and hundreds of elaborate light displays with Holiday music. The cost is $40 – $50 per vehicle depending on vehicle size. More information.

Lights at the Farm

November 19, 2021 – January 2, 2022

This is one of Arizona’s largest light shows that you can walk through. With millions of lights and lighted holiday displays and tons of decorated Christmas trees you can enjoy games, holiday activities, and tons of food. there is even a skating rink and a petting zoo for visitors to enjoy. Tickets range from $12 to $15 a person. More information.

Phoenix Zoo Lights

November 29, 2021 – January 11, 2022

The Phoenix Zoo will be decorated with millions of Christmas lights, lighted animal displays and sculptures, and its Music in Motion show for Zoo Lights, which is celebrating 30 years in 2021. People can walk around the zoo and see all of the different lights. The carousel, stingray bay, and camel rides will also be open during Zoo Lights. New this year, some 30 paintings from artist Russell Rona featuring endangered species will be illuminated and placed along zoo trails.

Admission on walk-thru nights is $16 for members and $20 for the general public. More information.

Phoenix Zoo Lights

November 29, 2021 – January 11, 2022

The zoo will also have 10 nights reserved for Cruise ZooLights, where the zoo will be closed to foot traffic and people can drive along some of the zoo’s trails and pathways to see the lights. Cruise ZooLights nights are: Nov. 29 & 30, Dec. 6, 7, 13, 14, Jan. 3, 4, 10, and 11.

Cruise ZooLights is $60 per vehicle for members and $75 for the general public. Admission on walk-thru nights is $16 for members and $20 for the general public. More information.
